MarbleArch is a bookmatching visualization tool for architects and interior designers. This policy describes how the app handles your data.

Data Collection and Use

MarbleArch does not collect personal content such as images, files, or user-generated designs.

The app uses Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics to understand app stability, diagnose crashes, and improve performance across different devices.

The data collected for this purpose may include:

App usage events
Crash logs
Device and OS information
Performance and diagnostic data

This data is used solely to identify bugs, crashes, and reliability issues. It is not used for advertising, profiling, or tracking users across apps.

No user accounts or registration are required.

Image Handling

All images you capture or import are processed entirely on your device.

Images are stored in the app's private storage on your device
Images are never uploaded to any server
Image processing (cropping, rotation, pattern generation) happens locally
When you export or share a pattern, the image is passed directly to your device's share functionality

Third-Party Services

MarbleArch integrates with the following third-party services:

Firebase Analytics
Firebase Crashlytics

These services are used exclusively for diagnostics and performance monitoring. No image data or user-generated content is shared with these services.

Data Storage

All user-created data, including saved projects, patterns, exported images, and preferences, is stored exclusively on your device. This data is never backed up or synced to any server.

Permissions

The app requests the following permissions:

Camera: To capture marble texture images (optional)
Photos / Media access: To import images from your device gallery

These permissions are used solely for the stated purposes.

Data Deletion

Since all user-created data is stored locally on your device, you can delete all app data by:

Deleting individual projects and patterns within the app
Uninstalling the app (removes all associated data)

Crash and analytics data collected by Firebase is retained according to Firebase’s data retention policies.

Changes to This Policy

Any updates to this privacy policy will be reflected in app updates with an updated "Last updated" date.
